June 6th: Last Day/Early Release


Reading: In reading this week we are creating our reading profile. We will be thinking
about who we are as a reader and our goals as a reader for the summer.


Writing: This week in writing the students are continuing to take over and teach a lesson
to the class! This week students are teaching us all about fiction. They have made anchor
charts and have their supplies collected. Here are a few photos from last week:
Math: This week in math we are sending home our math books and having math
talks about things we learned throughout the year!
Social Studies: We will have our field trip on Wednesday in the community and finish
our centers this week!

Hello, Thank you to everyone that came to our Earth Day Family Night. It is always good to see everyone and I hope that your family enjoyed it! We are learning how we can learn together, how to learn as much as you can from each section, and how to retell the most important things you learn. Here are a few photos of the book clubs in action! Hello! After a cold week of indoor recess, it is nice to be back with some normal temperatures! This week is an exciting week with new units starting. Check for new scholastic orders to come out this week. Remember you can always order online if you would like to purchase any books.
