12/18 to 12/21

Hello,

 We have a busy and exciting week for our week before break! We will be playing some winter math games, celebrating the end of our reading and writing unit, and playing some fun snow games at recess! 
12/21: Pajama Day
12/21: Celebrate our Writing by reading to the kindergartners!
12/21: Hot Chocolate and a movie!
12/22: No School
12/25-1/1: Winter Break
1/2: Classes Resume

Reading: In reading we will be making a poster to share what we have learned in some of our favorite books we have been reading! We are going to hang them in the hall to share with the whole school!

Writing: In writing we are going to celebrate the end of our nonfiction writing unit by teaching the kindergartners something new! We are also going to wrap all of our books up and send them home later this week so you can check out what they have been working on!

Math: Fun winter math games and working on adding within 10.

For Fun This Week: We will be watching Monsters Inc on Thursday and be drinking hot cocoa and eating popcorn. It is a G rated movie but please let me know if you would not like your child to participate and I can have other activities ready for them.

Thanks for all you have done this year for your child's education and have a great winter break. I hope you have a lot of fun enjoying time with your families!

Hello! After a cold week of indoor recess, it is nice to be back with some normal temperatures! This week is an exciting week with new units starting. Check for new scholastic orders to come out this week. Remember you can always order online if you would like to purchase any books.
